Turkish government to be represented by minister of development at NAM Summit

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) -Turkish Development Minister Cevdet Yilmaz will arrive in Tehran tonight at the head of delegation to represent his government in the 16th NAM Summit of Leaders.Yilmaz’s advisor for press affairs told IRNA in Ankara that the minister and accompanying delegation will travel to the Iranian capital tonight.Iran has invited President Abdullah Gul for the summit as a special guest but he fell ill and the program was cancelled.Turkey is a member of NATO as of 1952 and is an observer in NAM. /219
